From our pastor

Welcome to the Church of God at Antioch. We are delighted that you have taken the time to visit us here on our website. I encourage you to browse through the information we have made available. It is our desire to be a blessing to you. We try very hard to provide outreach to every family member. In this very chaotic world we live in today, people need a place of comfort and support. We offer a variety of ministries to meet the family at their need. We invite you to come join us in one of our services. I believe you will find a warm and loving group of people that will do their best to make you feel welcome. After a few visits you may even feel like you can call this your home church.

The Church of God is fully committed to the Bible, and every member has covenanted to accept and live by its teachings. We embrace the New Testament as our rule of faith, practice, government, and discipline. Our desire is to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Jesus not only purchased salvation for our souls, He also purchased His Church through the blood that He shed on the cross (Acts 20:28). He has preserved it to this day and will soon perfect it and present it to himself as "
a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:27)

May the Lord bless you as you seek to do His will in your life. We are available to answer questions, and we will take your prayer requests to heart. "
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Corinthians 13:14)

A solid foundation
It all began in the New Testament when Jesus gathered his disciples together to form His Church. In more recent history, The Church of God at Antioch, Tennessee started with 23 members in 1993. Pastored by Jerry Campbell, they met in the Campbell's house and simply wanted to serve the Lord.

Even though the congregation has grown and the building has changed, the focus of the Church is still to work for the Lord and obey His word daily.

The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful building, a loving pastor, and a friendly congregation. We are excited to see what He has in store for us.

Family matters
At Antioch, we maintain a family friendly atmosphere with child care on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. We also have services on Wednesdays and Sundays to encourage our youth and help them grow in their faith.

We understand that the family is important and we work to build that bond in Christ through events like Vacation Bible School, Youth bible study, and a focused Sunday School class for the adults to participate in.

And that’s not all
If you would like to know more or if you have any questions, feel free to send us an email or stop by for a visit. We hope you have enjoyed finding out a little about us and we would be glad to meet you.

The Truth in Love

Everyone loves gifts. Jesus has many wonderful gifts for us, and all we have to do is simply desire and receive them among these 3 gifts:

Salvation: receiving Jesus as your personal savior, being forgiven of sins; Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins be blotted out...”

Sanctification: This is the second definite work of grace. With salvation, sins are forgiven. With sanctfication the Adamic nature or inbred sin is eradicated. This work is instantaneous. One becomes holy; Hebrews 13:12 “Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood...”

Baptism with the Holy Ghost: Power for service. The Holy Ghost will only dwell in a clean temple, therefore one must be sanctified in order to receive this gift. The baptism is always accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance; Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is upon you...”
